Teriyaki? That's a little spicy for Ballard. Where's your lutefisk?
Anyone who watches SYTYCD knows how I feel about last night. Now all my votes are going to Sabra. The top 4 are all amazing. But when Sabra dances, I almost always feel something.

I am so bad. I am taking a second sick day from work. Yesterday I was actually sick, my stomach was like "Ack! With the sharp, stabby pains!" Today it's a lot more of a gentle discomfort (oxymoron much?). I could go in, I suppose...

I need to buy Vicki a thank you card. I know I complain about her a lot. But the career part of my horoscope last Friday was completely correct. When you least expect it, someone you thought was definitely not on your team will say or do something to make you wonder if you shouldn't start being nicer -- immediately. Yep, it was the 10th. We actually couldn't go up to corporate for checks because no one was in that day. But yesterday she offered to go up there and stuff my checks into envelopes and file away the bills.

I watched the first disc of Eerie, Indiana last night. Yes, I was in love with Omri Katz when I was seven. But I find that this show is the nexus of my elementary school fangirl universe. Omri Katz is the star. But in one episode, there was Gabriel Damon and Scott Weinger! You may recognize them better as Spot Conlon from Newsies and Steve (DJ's boyfriend who ate all the damn time) from Full House! Yep, I was in pre-pre-teen love with them too. Now, what makes it even scarier is that Jason Marsden (who you might remember as The Pocket Gay on Will & Grace) is in a few episodes later in the series!!! *asplodes* I was, and still am (he still looks amazing) in love with him!!!! I know Omri and Jason were pretty much almost everywhere in the early 1990s, but still.... Wow. If they didn't both already have fan groups on Facebook, I'd start 'em. The only thing that'd make it weirder if the guy who played Endless Mike on The Adventure of Pete & Pete, who I also had a thing for. :P

I put up a bunch of posters I've had forever yesterday. Even though my room is still a mess (and I promise I am going work on it with my day away from work), my mom still wanted to see. Two of the posters are of Zac Efron/Link Larkin. My mom was like, "Oh, he's cute." My mom thinks Zac is cute! ^_^ I have no idea why that amuses me so much.

telltale posted this in her LJ. Even though I didn't like the first one, I am really excited for High School Musical 2. Oh shut up!

Haven't had anything from hmd_tuesday in a while..
1. If you could get House to say one thing to one other character, what would it be? To Cameron, "Here. This is where my tongue lives!" That's for you fellow MSTies. XD
2. Pick an episode and change the way it ends. Now tell me about it. The season 3 finale. Either Cameron does not go to Chase; or she thinks about it, and then I jump on the screen and slap some sense into her (and then I go boink Wilson of course :P)
3. Steve didn't work out and neither did Hector. What animal SHOULD House have for a pet? Bunnies!!!! They're not just cute like everybody supposes!
4. Give me one Season 4 Wish. Make it a good one. Well, Kal Penn is going to be a duckling. They should sneak in a Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle reference in there. And more actors from Buffy!
5. Most attractive Wilson episode ever? Why do you think so? Wilson in a tux in "All In", *swoon* But everyone looked fine in that episode... When he says to House, "You're in trouble." Gotta loooove smug!Wilson. Or when he's "ON SPEEEED!" Or whenever he's in scrubs...

My mom came into my room right as they were playing his farewell montage; and I must've had a crestfallen look on my face, because she was just like "Okay, what's wrong?"

I was seriously shocked! He hasn't been in the bottom 3 in weeks! I like Neil, but he is still so young. It should've been him. America can kiss my fat arse!

I used to love Eerie Indiana when I was younger. X3

Yet another TV Show we both watched/watch! *g*
Allee: lunalovegoodlady_lyca on August 14th, 2007 08:50 pm (UTC)
OMG! That's so cool! =D

This is such a good show! They don't make kid's shows like they used to.
polaris_86: lighterpolaris_86 on August 14th, 2007 09:46 pm (UTC)
Totally what I think everytime I switch on the kids channel nowadays! X3

Aw, when we were kids, everything was better (and more imaginative).
Allee: nickangelunbelievablelady_lyca on August 14th, 2007 09:56 pm (UTC)
This totally reminds me of The Simpsons (the one where Homer has a crayon in his brain), and they go to the animation convention. And Bart watches Japanimation. PRAWN POWER! And Lisa says, "Why would a wolf shoot a web?" XD Everything can be related to The Simpsons.
polaris_86: nanapolaris_86 on August 15th, 2007 02:20 pm (UTC)
"Everything can be related to The Simpsons!"

Omg, so true! XD

Do you know the feeling when a situation reminds you of something related to the simpsons and you say it out loud and then everyone stares at you as if you are insane. *lol*

Allee: meangirlslady_lyca on August 14th, 2007 11:00 pm (UTC)
OK Girls FTW!!! I can't believe that I JUST found out there were books! I will be tearing apart every used bookstore for them! If all else fails, I'll buy on Amazon... But I have a feeling that there is a treasure trove of them out there. They have a million Baby-Sitters Club books, why not Eerie? Not that I didn't read BBC either... XP

peaceandroswell on August 14th, 2007 11:13 pm (UTC)
Don't worry, I didn't know either for awhile lol. Oh man, if there's a Half Price by your house: Look there. I think there is, because even though they used to be rare, they've expanded now!

Have you seen this?

and www.livejournal.com/~sweetvalley
Allee: JDmagichatlady_lyca on August 14th, 2007 11:30 pm (UTC)
I love Half Price! They have like the biggest selection of Russian History books I've ever seen! They feed my addiction. LOL! I go there at least once a month... I did go into their children's section last time, looking for the Alice books by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. They didn't have a big selection of anything. But there are a lot of Half Price around here. It'll be a total project!

There's also an independent used bookstore that I LOVE! I've been going there since I was like 7. The owner gave me a high school graduation present for goodness sake! XD But it's right next to the grocery store I used to work at, and there's bad blood there, so I've been afraid to go back. I'm such a wuss, LOL!

I need to dig all my BBC books outta the garage and have a marathon. I didn't read Sweet Valley High though. But I watched the tv show! It was on right after Breaker High!
Allee: JDmagichatlady_lyca on August 14th, 2007 11:32 pm (UTC)
And by BBC, I mean BSC. D'oh!
peaceandroswell on August 15th, 2007 03:07 am (UTC)
argh i have tried to leave you a comment like six times. stupid lj! =( do you remember beakers world? they played that the other day hahahhhhhhhhhha
Allee: chocolatekinglady_lyca on August 15th, 2007 03:47 am (UTC)
Oh, LJ was being a total douche to me earlier today, wouldn't let me even access the front page. *gar*

It sounds vaguely familiar....
peaceandroswell on August 15th, 2007 03:49 am (UTC)
ah its cause i got the name wrong! haha

THIS. like bill nye,
but wackier... if thats possible.
i still <3 bill nye, though.
we had to watch SOOO many of his tapes in Science like ALL THE TIME HAHA
he roccked. he made us laugh pretty hard
Allee: chocolatekinglady_lyca on August 15th, 2007 03:54 am (UTC)
Ahhh! See, my heart will always belong to Bill Nye. He's from here, and he used to be on Almost Live!, the show I was actually when I made this entry. If you could watch vids, I would send you a link to Speed Walker (a superhero he played on the show).

Also, on this show he also did a fake Nike commercial.

"Shoes for men." *montage of men, sports, and shoes*
"Shoes for women." *montage of woman and shoes*
"Shoes for men who dress like women." *montage of Bill putting on make-up, dress, and heels. Then walking down the street*
"It's the new Nike Cross-Dresser!"

P.S. Your icon makes me giggle like WOAH! =D
peaceandroswell on August 15th, 2007 04:01 am (UTC)
Hee! Bill Nye, we always had to watch in science class from when he started until he ended. Although, I left school before he ended. Or exactly when. I wish that'd never happened, but oh well. Someone on IMDB said he'd be amazing on Dancing with the Stars. I full-heartedly agree. He'd get my vote in a heartbeat.

I never saw that, haha.

Also, it turns out - I can watch videos, but they have to be sent to me through yousendit or something. No YouTube =( Cause my friend showed me VLC Media Player which has rockeeeed. Unfortunately, megaupload tends to...not work for me.

And yaaay. Haha, have you noticed my recent Scrubs obsession? It's really all this local networks fault. You see, they play it six times a day so if I miss even one repeat, I immediately am like Oh No. MF#R$$@~!!!!!!!!!! Haha. Also, on Thursday's, I've abandoned Grey's Anatomy - could care less about it now and will be watching the final season of Scrubs. ^_^

I got the icon from _iconicreations ^___^

OH! I found out Jonah Hill has a MySpizzle!

Allee: ronharryguylovelady_lyca on August 15th, 2007 04:13 am (UTC)
I would start watching Dancing with the Stars if he was on there! OMG, that'd be so amazing!

Well, it was a local show. Like the quote I used as my subject, they were doing a parody of COPS. "COPS, in Ballard." And Ballard is an area of Seattle populated mostly by elderly Scandanavians who drive poorly. XP It was on Comedy Central for a little while, but since it was mainly local humor, I guess it didn't fare too well.

If I knew how to gank vids from YouTube, I would totally send them to you. TV network execs, we need DVDs...NOW!!!!

Six times?! Wow! It's played on like five channels here, but not that much. Not that playing it that much is bad; for Scrubs is awesome! Dr. Cox, plz to be marrying me!

And Jonah, plz to be adding me to your friends! ^_^
peaceandroswell on August 15th, 2007 04:19 am (UTC)
Haha, I watched it last season because of Billy Ray Cyrus and the guy from Cheers. I liked Joey too and Apollo. =D There were some good dancers.

Ahh, it'd be nice to have local shows available on DVD's. Its sort of like music - it's interesting to find out what's in other cities.

Hahaha. I want to marry JD and Elliot. It'd be a totally legal medical polygamous marriage. Cause well, they rock my socks like foreeever. Most fic's I've found of Scrubs, however are Cox/JD and Im like YAY but where are my JD/ELLIOTS PLZZZZZZ

I also want to marry mynetwork27. I think you would too. They play Seinfeld 3 times, Scrubs six, King of the Hill 3, and a bunch of other really amazing stuff. Including rare rare rare RARE movies on the weekends!!! And sometimes on weekdays at 9.
Allee: ronharryguylovelady_lyca on August 15th, 2007 04:33 am (UTC)
Dude! Polygamy with those two would be awesome! I wonder if I can work my non-existent charm on the barista who looks and sounds exactly like Sarah Chalke...

I KNOW! I was looking for Cox/Carla fic, and it was ALL JD/Cox! Yes, I know Carla and Turk are perfect for each other, and same goes for Cox and Jordan; but that's what fan fic is for!
peaceandroswell on August 15th, 2007 04:43 am (UTC)
wait what! where?!?! hot. haha. i love sarah chalke. she's one of the best sarah's alive. haha.

and i know! it's for mixing and matching. the jd/cox fan fics aren't bad or anything, they're actually quite good, but im like kplz. also i hope in the next season jd goes with elliot and not kim. =\ does that sound cruel? it's just that...ever since i started watching i have and always will be jd/elliot. and and well cox/carla is really cute. you can feel tension between them pre-turk haha. carla does good at putting cox in line when he's trying to be rude to people XD;

"i make turk wax his chest so he doesn't give me a rash" lol i love donald faison, by the way. i think he's sorta underrated! i mean scrubs in no way is, its just that i feel like zach and sarah (though i totally love them both) get most of the attention *lol*

oh also! there's a guy at albertsons that looks just like ryan gosling...
Allee: pennyhairspraylady_lyca on August 15th, 2007 05:02 am (UTC)
I'm not really into the idea of JD and Elliot ending up together... Not that I want him with Kim... Not that I hate JD/Elliot or anything, I would be totally fine with it... XP

EXACTLY! It was even mentioned that Cox had a crush on Carla! They would be so cute together! I do like how their best friends on the show together, Carla is the only one who he'll let talk to him that way. I mean, Jordan does too, but he doesn't respond the same way...

Donald Faison is amazing. Best part of Clueless, when Murray screams. Hi-larious, I laugh every time. XP And he's in Josie & the Pussycats, Can't Hardly Wait... DONALD RULES!
peaceandroswell on August 15th, 2007 05:05 am (UTC)
Haha, you know if you listen to some of the things on the Clueless "Whatever Edition" DVD, they tell you that that one part in Clueless where Murray screams that the girls didn't know that was going to happen but Donald did. Lol.

I know exactly what you mean. Not that I don't like Jordan, I do. Especially because of the actress (HiDrewCareyShow!), but you're right that Carla/Cox would be cute. What episode did they mention that crush?

Allee: wednesdayaddamslady_lyca on August 15th, 2007 05:12 am (UTC)
Drew Carey Show = awesome. Oswald is a god! XD

I don't remember it exactly... It was either season 1 or 2 I think... Jordan mentioned it in front of a woman Cox was trying to have it off with. I just remember bolting up, pointing at the screen, "I knew it!"
peaceandroswell on August 15th, 2007 05:17 am (UTC)
Haaa. Ahh, I must see that episode. I'm sure they'll play it on Channel 27. I hope!

I miss Drew Carey. I think he's an amazing choice for The Price is Right. I can't wait to see an episode with him in it XDDDDDDDD. Do you know when it starts? I already know he got hurt on the set but they said it wasn't a huge injury, just a little one.
