I sense there's something in the wind, That feels like tragedy's at hand
Took asiswellknown out to dinner and a movie last night for her birthday. Going to pick her up, it must have been game night or something because traffic was horrendous on the bridge. But I did get to annoy everyone else with "Pop! Goes My Heart">, including my little finger snaps and dance moves. We then drove up to Alderwood, but POTC3 wasn't playing there, so we drove to Woodinville. We WOULD find it! It's Lauren's b-day, she is going to get pirates!!! And we got there just in time for the 9 showing. The previews were crappier than last time though. No Transformers or Live Free or Die Hard. But they still showed The Golden Compass which made me happy.

I need to go find some Norrington graphics now. *luffs the Norrington*

Of course there was massive Simpsons quoting. "In your face, space coyote!"

"I love yoooou! Spend my days pitching wooooo to yooooou!"
-"And I love yoooooou tooooo! I am you and you are yoooooou!"
--"They've been singing for two hours!"

"What part of 'Didi mau' do you not understand?"

I am thinking about doing a Willow/Giles fic for anti_censor_fic. I just don't know how I want to go about it. But one of the song prompts gave me an idea for a dark fic. I don't know whether to have it looking back over time, kind of episodic, or what. I'll probably start writing both and see where that takes me.

Ganked from jackie, overglow, lots of people.
ICON MEME! :D Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it'sinteresting to you, what significance does it have.

This is from Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, probably my third favorite musical ever. It's Jimmy Harper at the start of "Romeo & Juliet", and I often feel that dorky and cheesy. Made by peachlemonade

This was made specifically for me by misunderstood_b. Inspired by my favorite lyric "Your scars they matched my dress" from "Lazarus Heart" by The Walkabouts. Downloadable here for your listening pleasure. :)

Gin 'n' Tonic is a surprisingly small ship. It comes in second to Draco/Hermione for me. Very dark, and I love it. Made by ginaeon.

OMG! Roger Bart *points to icon* is going to be in Hostel: Part II!!! And he is second billed on IMDb, so hopefully that means he will have a big part. I wanted to see it anyway, but now even more so! Now I just need to find someone to see it with me. Not a movie you can see alone, lest you look like a homicidal freak.

You scored as Moya (Farscape), You are surrounded by muppets. But that is okay because they are your friends and have shown many times that they can be trusted. Now if only you could stop being bothered about wormholes.

And Spaceballs is f***ing amazing! XD

Indeed! I remember once my friend Susan spent the night and we watched it. Of course this led to quoting. And when my mom was showing us all the food she bought for us, Susan shouts, "Yogurt! I hate Yogurt! Even with strawberries!" And my mom didn't know that was from Spaceballs, and she was like, "Oh don't worry! I bought other food!" LOL! XD

Not that it's probably helpful now, but Alderwood 7 is playing POTC3. I had the same problem when I went to Alderwood 16. I'm glad you got to see it, though. I have no idea whose brilliant mind was behind that marketing strategy, let me tell you. :)
Allee: kayleeumbrellalady_lyca on June 3rd, 2007 08:58 pm (UTC)
Which one is Alderwood 7? I know The Grand (aka The Big Cement Block) is now a Kohls. Is it the glass-y one?

It's probably like how they do movies in Redmond. What Bella Botega doesn't play, Town Center will. But yeah, having to battle for parking at the mall, walking to the theare, then having it not play...that sucked. But maybe that's just because I am really lazy. LOL! And you would think it'd be at 16, because it's the spiffy new theatre. Eh, who understands how people in Lynwood think anyway.

I actually live in Kirkland, so seeing it in Woodinville allowed me to get gas at the place close to my house, woot for 10 cent discount! It actually cost less than 30 dollars! Yay! XD
Speed: hatsnarkylightning on June 3rd, 2007 11:20 pm (UTC)
Uh, Alderwood 7 is on the street behind the mall. If you're driving on Alderwood Mall Parkway, you take a left on 184th, I think it is, and it's there. I can never keep the theaters straight around Alderwood Mall because there used to be three (I think), but then they got rid of The Grand and now there's just Alderwood 16 and Alderwood 7. Alderwood 7 is playing 28 Weeks Later at one theater and POTC3 at like, 8 theaters. It's kinda crazy.

I would think it would be at Alderwood 16 too, because that's the theater that everyone knows about because it's right inside the mall complex. I guess it doesn't matter, though, because pretty much every theater in the area is owned by Regal.

Yay for things working out in the end, then. :D
