Some are easier than others. Good luck guessing! :)

They had a few shows about the Nazis on Discovery Time this weekend, and of course that just meant me watching and singing at random times. "Heil myself!" And jackie had posted the vid of that scene earlier.

Could this be true?!?! The Spice Girls reuniting for a tour?!?!? Do I dare to dream?!?! Okay, this may be extremely sad, but I would stand in line for days to see them in concert. I never got to see them when I was obsessed back in 7th and 8th grade. Siriusly, in middle school I was the girl know for being obsessed with the Spice Girls and Sailor Moon. And apparently one girl named Tia did not know this. She had an extra ticket and said she would have given it to me had she known. D'oh!

You scored as Baby Spice. You are the most like Baby Spice, AKA Emma Bunton. Emma is the youngest of the spice girls. She is cheerful and girly.

Oh, I have a song for y'all! It's 'The Road I Must Travel' by The Nightwatchman. I don't know why, but I am totally feeling this song right now! It's on my MySpace, complete with a new layout. It seems to me to be a bit of a throwback to the folksy-political songs of yester-year. The NWM is actually Tom Morello of Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine. He's performed as the NWM at political events for about 4 years. I can't believe I am just now hearing it! I might actually buy the whole album, rather than pirating it. I really like this song because it does have a meaning, but it still really fun, and easy to sing along to.

I think I am more into politics than most people; definitely not as much as some people. But I watch a lot of news shows and like to stay informed. You should've been in the room with me while watching Bill Maher this weekend. I was getting just so mad! I mean, practically everything this administration has ever done has really pissed me off. I mean, I've been very vocal about my hatred of Bush since around 2002. Yes, before I loved him and called myself a Republican. But I WASN'T one! I went to a private religious school, where a lot of us were...not brainwashed, but kind of. But then I finally escaped that place, and started to actually pay attention to the world around me. I discovered I was quite liberal. In fact, I identify myself as a socialist. I honestly can say I was against the Iraq war from the beginning. I don't mention it to be preachy or self-righteous, and I apologize if it comes off that way. I am just giving a history, so if I ever mention how I "was a republican", I don't want to appear to be a hypocrite.

ANYWAY, I have always disagreed with just about everything Bush and his cronies have done. At first, it was just that I disagreed. I didn't necessarily hate Bush or anything, just differed politically. I thought that maybe we both wanted the same things, we just go about getting them differently. But now I really do think most people in power are evil.

I heard on Bill Maher this weekend that several countries had offered the U.S. a lot of aid after Hurricane Katrina. And the government refused it. I wish I remembered where that info came from, so I could link it back. I want to be able to cite sources, so it doesn't look like I just pulled it outta my ass. But apparently ike $300 million was offered, Greece offered two cruise ships, Cuba offered assistance (especially since they have more hurricane experience than just about anyone). But no. The administration couldn't get passed it's political relationships with these countries and had to hold on to a rigid sense of pride... I remember my conservative father saying, "We helped out all these countries after the tsunami, why can't anyone help us?" I told him, "Okay dad, they'll go grab the piles of money from under their straw beds in their shanties!" But apparently they did try to help, we said no, and no one ever told the American public until now...

Now, I also like to give politician's the benefit of the doubt. I don't know them in real life, I can only agree or disagree with their policies. BUT, this callous disregard for citizen welfare is just plain evil. I don't know how these guys sleep at night. It's times like these I wish I believed in hell. But, I do believe in karma, and while Bush may not get impeached; and his most of his toadies will not be ousted, I do believe their will be cosmic retribution in some way. I have to. Otherwise I don't think I could stand to live in this world.

Wow did I go off there! Sorry. I just so angry, and since I am a loner, and live inside my head far too much, I gotta let it out somewhere. I hope I didn't piss anyone off. :\ Oh, and enjoy the song! :P

Desperate Housewives last night...Eh. I like how Victor sent hired thugs after the meter cop who put a bruise on Gabby. I thought that was cool. But then again, I'm twisted.

Celebrity Fit Club, Dustin Diamond is a douche. Plain and simple. Usually every season there is at least two people I don't like. But so far I like everyone BUT Dustin. They are all competitive, but they are still supportive of each other. I like how they all clap for each other, even if they are on the other team. I think that's really classy. And Kim...well she is the shit! When she told off Dustin, oh man. I had to toast towards the TV, 'cause that was awesome! And so true. Everyone else is a loser Dustin? Ummm...you're only one who did a sex tape and leaked it. Honestly, I think he is the one who released it for publicity. I hope he does keep eating like that. When he gets a heart attack, I'll laugh my ass off. Ross is so awesome. I just want to give him a big hug!

I also watched Monique's Charm School: Flavor of Love Girls. I still don't know exactly why. Leilene is nuts. When she got mad at one of the girls for saying she wasn't a good mother. She was seriously fucking scary! And hypocritical, because she started it by telling that girl she was living her life incorrectly. And Larissa is a bitch. But I did like how Larissa told off Monique, 'cause just from this episode she looked like a bitch too. I'll probably just stick with watching clips of it on The Soup and Best Week Ever.

Yay for Heroes tonight and for a sandwich made with leftovers from last night's roast beef for lunch!!!

Bwahahaha, that part of The Producer's always puts me into hysterics. Er...the good kind of hysterics. XD I just love Gay Hitler, he's so cute! *is so going to hell for that* XD

And AW MAN, are the Spice Girls really getting back together for a tour?? I loved them back in the day, but also never got to see them in concert. Then they kinda fell off my teeny-bopper radar when BSB and N*SYNC hit the scene. Heh heh, leave it to me to abandon them for the sake of a bunch of cute boys. XD "Spice up your Life" was like the ultimate Rollerskate-Party song, ROFL!! Did you ever see the Spiceworld movie? I kinda wanted to at the time, but never admitted it, LOL!!!

I will try out your movie-meme later, cuz I'm waay too sleepy right now to make any sense of it...really, I have no ideas at all!! :P

He's the German Ethel Merman, don'tcha know?! XD

Did I see the Spice Girls movie?!?!? Ummm, my 13th birthday party was seeing Spice World!!!! Oh man, I have a vivid memory of a sleepover at my friend Bonnie's house where we choreographed dances to "Spice Up Your Life", "Stop", and "Too Much". XD

Spice Girls and BSB posters covered my bedroom walls. Siriusly, there was very little blank wall space. Oh, and a Leo Dicaprio poster or two got on there too.

That reminds me, Bonnie's birthday is next week. I gotta call her.

Is 3 Texas Chain Saw Massacre? That's the only one I have the faintest clue about. I completely suck at this meme.

Is it weird that I like Leilene?
Alleelady_lyca on May 7th, 2007 06:47 pm (UTC)
Correctomundo! My favorite horror film of all time. And don't worry, I am so bad at these too.

Hehehehe. I think liking anyone on this show is weird. But like I said, I kinda like Larissa, so no judgement here.

And since you apparently watch it, I will watch too. Discussion rules! XD

I am just glad Bill ends with "New Rules", so it ends on a laugh. Like, I was siriusly crying a bit right at the end of the panel discussion.

I just don't understand how people can be so heartless. Especially people who claim to be Christians, because they are not only heartless; but hypocrites as well.

I can identify with you. I was never Republican, but I mean every single day there's something political that angers me and I get really passionate about it. Sometimes I wish that just one day, nothing politically corrupt would happen, but then that wouldn't be Earth, would it? Ugh.

I watched Kids in America the other night because I was so angry at the amount of censorship I'm enduring right now as we speak and got the idea to leave notes in the books I pick up that say "12/15/1791 - Remind the library" and such. I hope it at least reaches someone.
Allee: calvingahlady_lyca on May 7th, 2007 07:40 pm (UTC)
Well, I wasn't really a Republican. I just said I was one, because I knew NOTHING about politics. And did not want to be even more ostracized. Yeah, that's probably spelled wrong, but I am too lazy to go and look it up. :P

That is such a good idea! I hate how out of hand censorship has gotten! I mean, I believe in not having ANY, but it has gotten worse in the past few years.

Oh, also, a Spice Girls reunion would make me DIE OF THE SQUEEING...SRSLY.

We would totally have to meet up somewhere in like...Colorado and go together! XD
