With your sheets like metal & your belt like lace, your deck of cards missing the jack & ace
*gar* MSN was such a little beeyotch to me this morning! But, I now have the newest version at work, so yay. XP

Today's fannish5

-Remus Lupin (HP): Well, duh! Of course he is on here! And it doesn't hurt that I picture him as Ewan McGregor :D
-Hannibal Lecter(HR, RD, SotL, H): Okay, he was sort of a mentor to Will Graham and Clarice...so I think it should count! He has panache dammit!
-Dr. Perry Cox (Scrubs): A reluctant mentor, but JD does admire him :D
-Grady Tripp (Wonder Boys): Ummmm...it's my favorite movie...I always liked my sometimes snarky professors.
-Magneto/Erik Lensherr (X-Men): C'mon! He is one of the coolest anti-heroes ever!

Now, for a quiz stolen x_starbuck!

Your Personality is Very Rare (INFP)

Your personality type is dreamy, romantic, elegant, and expressive.

Only about 5% of all people have your personality, including 6% of all women and 4% of all men
You are Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving.

The feedback from my last post has left me feeling very complimented. That so many of you still like me, despite my emo band loving tendencies is overwhelming. XD So thank you. Oh, and jackie and I prove that there are fans out there who are not members of what I like to call the, "I cut myself to feel alive, whiny, suburban teen brigade". So there! Take that, hatas! LOL!

To thank you all for putting up with that, I am including a vid of tribute to Michael Fassbender's character of Azazeal from Hex. The song title is extremely appropriate.

England, you had a show with him...and you cancel after two seasons!?!?!?!?!

Oh, if anyone is interested, I uploaded all my Loreena McKennit for miss_bushido last night. So if any of you want the songs as well, just click here. The only song I didn't include was "The Mummer's Dance", seeing as she already had it. But if anyone is just dying for that song, I can upload it when I get home. :)

Watched V for Vendetta randomly last night, as it was on cable. And it just keeps getting better every time I see it! Except, I always think of the Daria episode where the holidays come to Lawndale. "No Guy Fawkes Day?! Waaa-haa-haa!" and "The English one is cute...so how come I want to deck him all the time?" LOL! Jane Lane, you rule.

Ugh. Now back to tracking down resale certificates from people we were doing business with 4 years ago. And then organizing them, since apparently people to lazy to copy & paste the following over and over again:
Business name
*UBI #
*Expiration Date
I mean, me, Allee, the most unorganized, scattered chick on the planet, can do that!

XOXO
Allee >'_'<

P.S. Expect another picspam of some sort this weekend. Now that I have Photobucket's Flock feature pretty well down pat, it is a lot less work....Plus I just like searching for pretty pics :D

Ooh, great meme and quiz! I'll have to steal them later, since I'm stuck here until tomorrow on account of the blizzard. :D

Hehe, we all have our guilty pleasures. I, for example, still love N'SYNC. And I'm not ashamed to admit it when I go to karaoke with the girls, lol. XD

V for Vendetta is indeed awesome. Natalie Portman is amazing, I wish I was her! She's absolutely gorgeous, even with a shaved head. Such a great movie, but if I'm in a silly mood it's fun to laugh at, too. If you're bored and want a laugh, check out this awesome parody: V for Vendetta in 15 Minutes. It's hilarious!

"The people need hope...and stuff blowing up!"

XD

Boo-urns to being stuck! But yay that you're doing the quiz and meme! XD

Oh, I still get funky with the Backstreet Boys once in a while...why does everything I like have to be a guilty pleasure?!?!!

I want to be Natalie Portman! Not fair that she's even gorgeous bald and in some moldy prison garb! I am so watchting that once I am alone! Oh I get silly with it as well. Not only does it remind me of Daria; but also the episode of The Simpsons when they go to Italy. I quote Sideshow Bob's son throughout the entire film...even if I am alone o.O "Vendetta! Vendetta! Vendetta for mi papa!"

Yah I know, this crazy-huge blizzard just came out of nowhere to ass-rape Upstate NY. IT WAS 70 DEGREES OUT 2 DAYS AGO, WTF. It's ruining everyone's plans to go home. D:

Boybands are the best to dance-party and karaoke to, no one can deny it! Everyone knows the words and dance moves to "Bye Bye Bye," whether they want to admit it or not! :P

Who doesn't want to be Natalie Portman? Seriously, she is awesome. She inspired me to cut my hair so short! She is totally my hero. Not only is she gorgeous and an amazing actress, she's funny and smart and modest, too! God, I love her.

Every girl is allowed a girl-crush, and I can admit to you that she is mine. I'm sure my boyfriend would be glad to hear that (but he will never know, ROFL). XD

Allee: dorkgaspardlady_lyca on March 16th, 2007 07:35 pm (UTC)
Dude, I totally hear ya! For a couple of days, it was warm here. Didn't need a jacket or anything. Then yesterday...it hailed!!! WTF?!?!

I have a very defined memory of a ninth grade dance, and doing the whole "Bye Bye Bye" dance with aelindil...

Natalie is a true goddess. And don't worry, the boy won't hear it from me XD
Allee: chwkennylady_lyca on March 16th, 2007 06:06 pm (UTC)
Wait. Why did I think that was a vid?

Hehehe...I'm an idiot. :P
Allee: joelsweetlady_lyca on March 16th, 2007 06:32 pm (UTC)
EVEY: Do you like music?

FINCH: If I say yes, do I have to live in your basement now?

ROFLMFAO!!!!

HAHAHHAAA!! I forgot about that part! Told ya it was hilarious! :P

Yay for quizzes ^_^

I love Lupin. I would choose him too!

Can I just ask: Do you like Lupin/Sirius or Lupin/Tonks ? Or Lupin / ? My two Harry Potter RL friends like Lupin/Sirius. Lupin/Tonks was my first ship -- EVER. I am very protective ... of them. LOL. If that makes sense.
Allee: lupinrocklady_lyca on March 16th, 2007 11:06 pm (UTC)
Ok...in my warped little mind, I REALLY like the idea of Luna/Remus...yeah I know. But screw canon I say! XD

I am not much of a slasher, but I totally see how Remus and Sirius are gay for each other, LOL!

And I don't hate Lupin/Tonks at all! One of the few indesputably canon ships I enjoy. :D

I'll ship Lupin/Anyone!!! If it has Lupin, I lurve it!
Chrissyx_starbuck on March 17th, 2007 03:35 am (UTC)
I'm not sure about Luna/Remus... Just because of the huge age difference. I mean he could be her father and that's kind of scary. But if she was older? I would so ship them!

Aww... I like them as friends but not together >_< I have nothing against slash (I don't read it very often though, unless someone recommends it)

Hehe I love TONKS. I suddenly feel like writing HP fanfiction.
Oh no.
Allee: lupinrocklady_lyca on March 17th, 2007 04:05 am (UTC)
I do like my ships unconventional. XD

Same here. Slash just ain't really my bag, baby.

Tonks is awesome!!! :D
Chrissyx_starbuck on March 18th, 2007 11:09 am (UTC)
Unconventional Ships are awesome. ♥ Soooo much more interesting! =D

Ok, this is completely unrelated to your post, but since you love Germany (you do, right??) I saw this and thought of you. This is copied and pasted from Neil Gaiman's blog (...I totally don't stalk him...I just get his blog feeds sent to my LJ friends list...really):

It was one of those moments when you know you're in another country. Specifically Germany.

10:53 am – I'm in my hotel room answering a written interview questions when the phone rings. A woman's voice says,

"Hello. Mister Gaiman. This is reception. You must come down right now. There is someone here to interview you."

I say, "Er. He's actually a bit early, and I'm doing something..."

"Very good," she interrupts, firmly. "Then you will be down here in exactly seven minutes."

And she puts down the phone, leaving me bemused and leaving the interviewer, standing in front of her downstairs, fairly mortified.

I took nine minutes to get downstairs, thinking "Hah. That'll show her," as I did so, which really wasn't very fair on the interviewer.

Hehe, I lurve him. Just thought you might find it silly! Kthxbai! *skips away*
Allee: reefer madnesslady_lyca on March 17th, 2007 02:23 am (UTC)
I am more a fan of Russia...but Germany is way cool as well! Especially seeing as I am part German.

Hehehe, I even fangirl for countries! XD

And indeed! That was very silly in a very entertaining way! =D *skips after you*
Pan: Harry/Cedricjedipanchan on March 17th, 2007 02:45 am (UTC)
Hehe, German is like, the weirdest language ever. I love the episode of Scrubs when Elliot yells at people in German. XD

Oh, it's ok, I totally fangirl England, and the UK in general! I've just always loved it, I blame Peter Pan, lol. :P

Yay for skipping! Hehehe...
Allee: dorkgaspardlady_lyca on March 17th, 2007 02:51 am (UTC)
Another line in the movie version of The Importance of Being Earnest with Colin and Rupert...I don't remember how it goes exactly, but Cecily is having her German lesson. "It's not a very attractiv language. I always feel quite plain after my German lesson."

Ok, like lots of middle school girls when it came out, Anastasia totally made me fangirl Russia. I guess I am one of the very few girls it stuck with, LOL!

ANOTHER school memory with aelindil, in PE we had to go around the gym some number of times, doing something OTHER than walking...being the dorks that we are...we skipped. "Ve are merry Dutch girls on our vay to school, yeah!" XD
Pan: Scrubsjedipanchan on March 17th, 2007 03:03 am (UTC)
Hehe, that line is in the original play, too! XD

Oh man, I loved London because soo many older Disney movies took place there. Peter Pan, 101 Dalmations, Mary Poppins, The Great Mouse Detective, The Prince and the Pauper... I just loved it soo much, and it definitely stuck with me.

And in middle school when we had to pick a language, I picked French because Beauty and the Beast took place in France and I already knew "Bonjour!" because of the opening song, ROFL!

I've actually never seen Anastasia, but I've always wanted to! I had it in my hand the last time I got a Disney movie at Blockbuster, but decided on Toy Story instead. I know, I know, Anastasia technically isn't Disney, but whatev. Maybe next time I'll pick it up.

I love how our comments are so all over the place! We went from V for Vendetta to childhood country obsessions to Disney movies!

We. Rock. ;D
Allee: justfriendslady_lyca on March 17th, 2007 03:28 am (UTC)
That's 'cause Oscar Wilde was da man! I am still considering naming one of my future/imaginary kids "Wilde" after him, LOL!

101 Dalmations...I remember when it first was released on tape, and since my mom is a HUGE Disney fan (seriously, our rec room is filled with memorabilia, my cousin Terry last weekend thought it was all left over from my childhood...no, my mom), anyway...we had pre-ordered it. I came home from school and watched it 5 times in a row. It'd finish, and I would hit rewind and start again, LOL!

See Anastasia!!! It still makes me feel all romanticle! XD And Dmitry...for a cartoon character, he is fuckin' smokin'!!

We rock da hiz-ou-ouse!
