You want to know beneath the snow, In winter you´re an affiction, That repeatedly defeated me
Am drinking possibly the third worst cup of coffee I have ever consumed. Eh, it's caffeine.

Just spent far too much money on Amazon.com. But I had to get Serenity, and The Santa Clause 1 & 2, and Home Alone 1 & 2. I always have trouble finding all of them, or if I do, they are full frame and not widescreen. I DO NOT by full frame unless it is not sold otherwise. Anyway, I got carried away and also got:
-National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
-Saturday Night Live Christmas Collection
-Addam's Family Values
-Ruthless People

monsternurse recommended Ruthless People. And I have the first Addam's Family on DVD, but could never find the second one in stores. Thank gawd Friday was pay day.

I made spaghetti for dinner last night. For someone who never cooks anything but cereal or macaroni, this is major. And it was delicious. And I have enough left over for dinner tonight! *WOOT*

miss_bushido, as soon as I am done with Beverly Hills 90210, I will watch Firefly. But now that I have started that, I am dying to finish! I am even putting off watching the episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent that I missed this season for it. =D

As you can probably tell from the DVD list, I am in such a Christmas mood! I admit I am one of those people who gets excited for Christmas the day after Halloween. I also want to experiment with a peppermint cookie recipe my friend Emily told me about. I think I am going to start with my mom's sugar cookie recipe and go from there. I know it invovles crushing candy canes and putting it in the dough; and then you separate the dough, and dye one half red. Then you twist them into candy cane patterns. I just have to get the dough recipe right. See, I bake, I don't cook.

...I really want go to the store and get some cookies now. Well, actually want my mom's sugar cookies. But alas, she only makes them at Christmas. But she puts homemade frosting on them....*drool* I am not a frosting person, unless it's my mom's. Oh, or if it's the kind with the rainbow chips in it.

I guess it snowed in the pass over the weekend. I hope it snows here. I mean, it always snows in the pass; they're mountains for gawd's sake. But, it just makes me want it here more. Now, if you knew me when I lived in Spokane; I hated snow then. But there were many variables there that are no longer in my life. My first year over there, it was the worst winter they had in at least ten years. And my school did not believe in cancelling, even though it was the worst in a decade. And both years at Eastern...there was a hill involved in getting to class. Freshman year, I had to walk down a hill to class or to eat or anything; and obviously had to walk up hill to get home. I was a city girl not used to walking in the snow...I fell at least 3 times a day. I wore a skirt to Thanksgiving dinner, and my knees were so bruised my family thought someone was beating me up. Sophomore year, winter quarter, I had an early class, so I had to walk up a hill to the campus (my building was off-campus), and of course it was all fresh snow, because not very many people had early classes...so me and my short legs got quite a workout in the non-compacted snow. And finally, since it snows there every year, the roads were as filled as ever, and the snow made the lines in the road even harder to see (and it was hard to make them out before); so you had to deal with other drivers as well as snow.

But see, in Seattle, everyone is afraid of snow! Literally the whole city shuts down. I would not have to come into work if it was bad enough. If I wanted to go somewhere during my snow day, there would be no one else on the road, because everyone is afraid. Plus, I have studded tires and now know how to drive in the snow. Please snow!!! It would be awesome if it snowed on Christmas day, but a lifetime in Seattle has told me not to hope. One year I thought we had it...there was snow all Christmas Eve...and then it rained. *facepalm*

Did anyone else watch Desperate Housewives last night?!?! Holy crap! I did not see that coming! If you watched, you probably know what I mean. And I really like Julie and Austin dating. It's the romantic in me I guess. I firmly believe girls need a guy like that in their life, at least once. Yes, he will probably break your heart, but it is worth it. Well, I think so anyway.

This suit is NOT black! ...Sorry, I am in a Borat-quoting mood. Conan like to make the sex crime, high five!

"That wasn't me? That's not what I was about!.
I'm a ballerina! Graceful!"

Would you die for me?"

"Ooh, I like your dress. It's so...tight"

I could go on for hours.......

Oh Wednesday is at that very special age where she only has one thing on her mind.

Ya know, when I first saw him I thought he was from Europe!
-You did? But I took a bath.

Our parents are having a baby too.
-They had sex.

Wait, we cannot break bread with you. You have taken the land which is rightfully ours. Years from now my people will be forced to live in mobile homes on reservations. Your people will wear cardigans, and drink highballs. We will sell our bracelets by the road sides, and you will play golf, and enjoy hot h'ors d'ourves. My people will have pain and degradation. Your people will have stick shifts. The gods of my tribe have spoken. They have said do not trust the pilgrims, especially Sarah Miller. And for all of these reasons I have decided to scalp you and burn your village to the ground. (I have had that memorized since I was like 9).

..Ok, not a quote, but when Joel sees the "Heal the World" Michael Jackson poster in the Harmony Hut and screams...rofl

"Can I be the the victim?"
"all your life..."

'How do you know we're not having sex right now?"

"Lurch, was that poor woman in there when you put the cake in the oven?"

"If I wanted to kill my husband I'd do it, and I wouldn't get caught."
"I'd scare him to death."

"We just want to play with him. Especially his head."

"You'll meet someone. Someone very special. Someone who won't press charges."

"An axe. That takes me back."

"You have gone too far. You have married Fester, you have destroyed his spirit, you have taken him from us. All that I could forgive. But Debbie..."

"Eat me!"
-"Sauteed or barbecued"
"Eat me!"

Also, I believe we are the same person. I bake, not cook. Jay does not understand this concept.

Heehee! I love having a birthday 10 days before Christmas! When I was little, it was like present-overload! XD And it always snows by my birthday, yay!

Once it snows, I'll be sure to get my camera back from my mom and take some pics for you (since I never got to take any Autumn pics, I will take a TON of Winter pics!), since New England is oh so pretty in the snow!
