I've made some empty promises in my life; but that was hands down the most generous.

Today was pretty good. I left early because I thought I had to scrape and defrost my windows and get gas. I didn't actually have to scrape today (yay!), so I decided to go to Starbucks with my few extra minutes. I guess someone a few cars in front of me had a large order or something, so I ended up being late. BUT, the car in directly in front of me paid for my drink. Regaining a tiny bit of faith in humanity is a great way to start the day. If I hadn't been running late, I would have got the guy behind me. I went after work too (it's freezing, but I was craving a passion tea lemonade), sadly no one pulled up behind me. Well, they did...but it was right after they gave me my drink and my card back. Gar! Hurry the fuck up so I can be nice!!! XP Oh well, next time.

And when I got home, I watched Arthur, had some milk and cookies, and then I took a nap. All of this was done while wearing my High School Musical t-shirt. Apparently I am five years old.

No new FlashForward until March?!?!?! QUOI LE FUCK?!?!?!?!

I am going to have back surgery on December 17th. I don't have to spend the night in the hospital, thank god. I will probably be out of commission for a week TOPS. They say I should try and move around a bit after 24 hours or something like that. But I don't know if I will be able to sit too long at a computer. So if I'm not around, that's why. I mean, I want to prepare for being sore for awhile, just in case I am. But maybe it will be like when I had my wisdom tooth taken out. It had roots growing in two different directions, and they thought they have to saw the tooth and half and a bunch of other stuff. They gave me sleeping pills AND laughing gas. Aaaand...it just popped out. I was out in five minutes. XD

At least The Hangover and Inglourious Basterds come out on the 15th. So if I am really sore, I have something to keep me entertained. :D

I'll keep it in mind. One of my exes was IMing me when he was on meds, and I understood a lot of it. Even though he kept talking about how he wanted an "ogy", which meant "orgy".

I don't know why so many TV shows, especially new ones, are having such long hiatuses this year. I don't remember them being this bad last year. But mostly, I just don't understand the marking strategy. Especially for some of them, like V, which only has four episodes out and then a four month break? I guess such a large break would allow people to catch up on the ones that have like ten or so episodes out already, but it seems really risky. :(

The last time there were hiatuses (hiatusi?) this long was the writer's strike. At least, as far as I remember. I don't get the strategy either. Maybe they have some midseason premieres they find really promising... *shrug*

*butting in, as usual* I dunno about Flash Forward, but I think what happened with V is that they only filmed the first 4 episodes. Maybe it's such a big-budget show (the effects are pretty good, it probably has a bigger budget than Heroes lol), that maybe they wanted to test the popularity and ratings before they went and filmed the rest. I am assuming all this based on all the cast only being credited for those 4 eps imdb and nothing else yet. And imdb knows all. XDD

But yeah, 4 months is a MAD LONG TIME, and I love that show. But at least LOST IS COMING BACK SOON OMGGGGGGG *DIES FROM TOO MUCH EXCITEMENT*

Don't forget about HBP, which comes out NEXT WEEK OMG. I always tell myself I'm not going to buy myself anything before my birthday/Christmas, but I ALWAYS get Harry Potter because I can't wait the extra few weeks, lol.

It was definitely good times. XD

Last year, I waited until Christmas for The Dark Knight. There is no way in hell I can do that again. XD I may also splurge on Metalocalypse season 2 also. :P

It is? Oh, it's a good thing I can never remember the password. Steven and I quote the show to each other a lot. Especially during cross country season when I'm with his team:
"...speaking of birthdays."
"Who was speaking of birthdays?"
"No one. But now that you mention it, mine's coming up!"
(because our birthdays are during xc season)
