I was being tailgated when I was leaving work. And rather than piss this guy off, I did a slow down instead of a technical stop. So I got a ticket. Why am I such a dumbass?!?! I mean, the cop was very nice and said he was being lenient. The ticket is only for $124. I can't buy my fancy face soap or anything for a little while, but it certainly won't kill me. I am just worried how much my insurance is going to go up.

And I am still debating whether or not to tell my parents. I mean, I don't live with them anymore, it's my car, I pay insurance, etc. But just this morning my dad gave me some money since I had to pay my accountant and everything and he decided to give me some extra. And he accidentally opened a past due notice from my bank. I usually pay my credit card online, and Washington Mutual closed and was taken over by Chase. Apparently they take a bit longer to process payments, so it was 2 days late. My dad knows I don't technically need the extra money, but it definitely helps. I know I should have pride and turn him down, but who turns down money? Also, I'm worried that they may send stuff in the mail (the address on my driver's license is my parents' house), even after I pay the ticket. :\

I stopped by Burger King after all this. I know, I know. If I am so disappointed in myself, why am I eating delicious food? Well, it may reward my taste buds, but trust me, it will punish my stomach. Very much. Buuuut...I put the cherry Icee in the freezer while I went to the bathroom and put on comfy clothes. When I opened the freezer, the Icee went flying. It spilled all over the kitchen floor, the fridge, the pantry door, and even a little carpet in the hallway. I think I got all of. But every time I thought I was done, I saw more of it.

I just feel like a monumental fuck up. I am going to finish my onion rings and go back to bed. I'm tempted to call my mom and cry. But I'm afraid she'll scold me, which she has a right to....

No real reason for this icon, other than it makes me laugh. :P

Man. I did that once. Except instead of being pressured by someone behind me, I was having a very involved conversation about House with my friend. Try not to let aggressive drivers get to you. If anything, you're saving ~them~ from getting a ticket. At least the cop wasn't an ass about it, though. If it's just one ticket, I don't think it should have any effect on your insurance.

I can see that. House can lead to some serious discussions. And I know, I really shouldn't. I think he was mad because he would've been in front of me if he hadn't been such a chickenshit. At this one four-way intersection, he was turning left and I was turning right onto the same street, and he totally could've made it before I got there. :P

Silly guy. I guess the bottom line is at least you didn't get in an accident. :D

Hehehe. Too true.

My roomie and I kept quoting my icon when we were watching Make Me A Supermodel last night. Especially in reference to this one girl who really thinks her s*** don't stink. :P Reserve the bitchy comments for us watching at home. XD
