Today's Tom Sawyer, he gets high on you & the space he invades. He gets by on you.
I was tagged by pellnell. :)

A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question.

B) Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.
(I kinda randomly picked people, so please don't feel left out - this is one reason I hate tagging. Do it if you really want to. :))

What are your nicknames?
Allee, Al, Soni, Tippy

How do you style your hair?
Just brush and let it hang half the time, in a bun the other half.

What's the last book you read?
I am almost finished with The Pagan Stone by Nora Roberts.

What colour shirt are you wearing now?
black with a picture of Lord Voldemort on it.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Introvert among strangers. But louder with people I know.

Do you nap a lot?
Yes. I sleep better in the afternoon than at night.

Who was the last person you hugged?
John. My homo skillet. XP

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
I gotta go with pellnell's answer. Repo! FTW! --->Oh, this one rock opera that features Paris Hilton and Bill Moseley as siblings who clearly want to do each other, and lines like, "I look like a crime scene death," that get stuck in my head.

What was the last thing you ate today?
Some dry roasted peanuts. I don't especially like them. But they are filling and I don't have much other food.

How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Between 30 to 45 minutes. I can go faster if I have to.

What websites do you visit daily?
LiveJournal, Facebook, Twitter, my e-mail

What's the last movie you watched? Either in the cinema or at home.
In the theatre it was Twilight. At home it was Saw IV (goddamn is Luke from Gilmore Girls hot in that!).

What time is your usual bedtime?
I try and be in bed by 11. But I don't really fall asleep till 1.

What cell phone model do you own?
iPhone 3G. Named Sheldon.

What is your favourite weather?
Windy and rainy. The kind of rain that turns the sky green.

What's your dream career?
Sadly I don't really have one. I wish I could find something I was passionate about. I would say something in theoretical physics, but I am nowhere near smart enough in that department. :P

What images were in your mind when you fell asleep last night?
Snow. I was hoping it would continue so I wouldn't have to go to work today. No such luck.

Where would you see yourself in ten years?
Probably living in a box in the alley behind the 7-11.

Had an opthamologist appointment today. Joy of joys. */sarcasm* I'd complain, but it's already gonna be in my Twitter when it's imported tonight. That's what I did during the long ass wait, sent text updates to Twitter. :P The new assistant there is kind of a jackass. Speaking of Twitter, I can't get the before/after Tweet text to work on LoudTwitter. And what I want to say is ever so witty!!!

Big thanks to sweetcarolanne (your card was so sweet), hazy_crazy (you know I want to have that drawing framed), and pellnell (your card was just awesome and you have beautiful handwriting)! I loved getting all those in the mail. *huuuuugs*

Saturday was John's birthday. His aunt Jan came by. And so did Laura, who brought me nummy nummy fudge for Christmas. I got him a card (with Snoopy on it and I of course had to reference Family Guy) and a little Hallmark stuffed Christmas puppy. Yeah, sucky gift. But I'm poor! And I promised I'd take him to a movie. But Laura got him a whip (tee hee), so my present looked especially craptacular. :P So John got drunk, Laura had one drink, and I only had half of one (shocking I know). But after Laura left, the two of us watched Hercules and Saw IV. 'Cause that's how we fuckin' roll, beeyotches! XD Disney and horror, that's where it's at.

Tomorrow's my dad's birthday. I have to remember to bring him his card!

I love that song in your title! Also...I figured out how to work for LoudTwitter last night and it didn't work, but I think it's my fault because I accidentally hit suspend posting, then un-did it haha
Allee: kelsocakelady_lyca on December 16th, 2008 02:11 am (UTC)
LOL! I did something like that once. When my parents first had cable a long time ago, I set a reminder for this one show that was never on that I loved (Ghostbusers X-treme I think it was called). But I was paranoid, so I kept setting the reminder. What I didn't realize I was turning it off and on. And I did it one too many times. XD

*Sigh* You know speaing of rewinding things...I soooo miss when on VCR's you could fix the tracking.

ICONLOVE. I can't wait for the new season!!!! Although, I wonder who will talk to themselves now lol
Allee: JDmagichatlady_lyca on December 16th, 2008 03:28 am (UTC)
True that! I have a ton of MST3Ks on tape, and automatic tracking kinda sucks. :P

boomkatchick on December 16th, 2008 04:40 am (UTC)
SERIOUSLY!!! I'm kinda sad it moved to ABC though. I detest ABC....MEH.

But I'll still watch, but ONLY watch Scrubs.

I think I recall you not being a JD/Elliot fan, but I'll miss that...and what about JD/Turk...*Sigh* But I understand Zach wanting to do new things, too.
Allee: kelsocakelady_lyca on December 16th, 2008 05:03 pm (UTC)
I don't like JD/Elliot in a romantic sense, you're right. But I will miss there friendship. And of course I will miss the JD/Turk. That bromance is epic! XD
boomkatchick on December 16th, 2008 06:43 pm (UTC)
Well, on the bright side...we do have their bromance IRL. :D!!!!!

I keep wondering if Zach will make a surprise appearance on the series finale.

Ha ha, this entry makes me happy because you quoted my super-brief answer about Repo. And I'm so glad you liked my card!

Have you seen all the Saw movies? I just re-watched the first one last week, and I'm planning on watching the rest 'cos I'm going through this big horror movie phase right now. I've heard the third one's really, really disgusting, but I want to see all of them for Darren Lynn Bousman's directing, and Scott Patterson and Julie Benz.
Allee: cliffordnotnormallady_lyca on December 16th, 2008 03:27 am (UTC)
I have only seen 1, 2, and 4. I own the third one but haven't watched it yet. :P Is it bad that after hearing the third is really, really disgusting I want to see it even more?

Woot for Julie Benz! I just finished watching the third episode of season 3 of Dexter. I am hoping to be caught up by this weekend.
Christy [popular slut club]: waiting below electric skies in timepellnell on December 16th, 2008 03:33 am (UTC)
Oh, no, that's totally not bad. I enjoy a good blood-and-guts fest too. Though it took me a while to get used to it. I used to hide my eyes when Daffs was killed in Shuan of the Dead, and all three times I saw Repo, I had to look away for one of the deaths at the end. But yeah, I love zombie movies with lots of blood, and I enjoyed Hostel immensely...so yeah.

Oh, I loved this season of Dexter. The finale felt a bit anti-climactic, but the last scene is alternately sweet and haunting and creepy. Mainly for the last visual.
Allee: producerscarmenlady_lyca on December 16th, 2008 05:08 pm (UTC)
I think Saw I is the first time I had to look away from a movie in a long time. That device on Shawnee Smith's head really bugged me for some reason. Not too mention the clown puppet. I hate clows. I LOATHE puppets. Clown puppets...yeah, I might pee myself. :P

And I looooove Hostel! Have you seen the second one? I think I may like it better than the first. But that just may be because I have a thing for Roger Bart. LOL!

I'm glad to hear you say you liked this season. Another friend who watches liked it too. But I've been hearing more bad things than good. But I trust your opinion more than random fans in general. :)

That reverse bear trap is freaking creepy. It's like, I know Amanda survives, but it just makes me all antsy. And the puppet is really scary. Last year, I went to this haunted house at a frat and there was someone dressed up as him. It was like the creepiest thing ever.

I actually really didn't like the sequel to Hostel, mainly because it didn't seem to have any real social point to it. I felt like it was just an excuse to sexualize violence against women, plus I was amazed it got an R rating. I had just watched the documentary This Film is Not Yet Rated, and Maria Bello had been in it, talking about the MPAA's lenience toward violent films and how they grade films with sex too harshly. They originally gave her film The Cooler an NC-17 rating, not because Alec Baldwin smashes a woman's face into a mirror, but because Maria Bello's pubic hair is on screen for two seconds.

Yeah, I seriously hate the MPAA and kind of doubt their decision-making abilities, like giving the uncut version of Saw an NC-17 rating, and letting Passion of the Christ pass through with an R.

But I do love Roger Bart! He's an amazing actor, and I actually found him quite sexy in Hostel 2.
Allee: nathanwallacelady_lyca on December 16th, 2008 06:27 pm (UTC)
I saw Saw I with my roommates, and when the movie was over one joked about hanging that puppet from the ceiling while I slept. I should've known I would one day no longer be friends with her. VENDETTA! :P

Yeah, I totally see what you mean with the lack of social commentary. But I liked that the female lead was pretty fucking harsh when she had to be. And I only saw the unrated version, so I don't know how different it was from the R rated one.

And I totally agree with you on the MPAA. But more than that, I hate how our country shares pretty much the same views. Yep, we are totally fascinated with crime shows or horror movies where psychos brutally murder and ejaculate on bodies. But nudity, no matter what context, is obscene.

and I actually found him quite sexy in Hostel 2.
Oh thank god I am not the only one! XD I was kinda sad how they made his character into a total monster. I mean, it was interesting and all (always the quiet ones and such). But I kinda wanted him and the girl to hook up. Yeeeaah...I have problems. XD

Might I ask, what IS an opthamologist? LOL :/ I honestly have no idea! I know orthodontist and optometrist :P
Allee: pyrosexlady_lyca on December 16th, 2008 05:01 pm (UTC)
It's like an optometrist, only more expensive. XP I have glaucoma (and sadly not the kind where I could score some medical marijuana either LOL!), so I have to see a specialist. That's why I hate the eye doctor appointments so much. Apparently he's really good, so he travels around the area. He's in my office on Mondays only and that makes it a long wait. :P

You shouldn't feel bad about tagging people. If someone is pissed because he or she wasn't tagged, I'd say they don't deserve to be your friends. :)

I sent away christmas cards on monday. Pretty late. Please don't be mad at me if it arrives after christmas. O_o
Allee: Merry Christmas bitches!lady_lyca on December 17th, 2008 12:25 am (UTC)
Yes. I am going to be very angry if it is here the 26th. ;) It's just nice of you to send me one. *hugs* I have a friend in Australia who asked for my address yesterday. So you are not the only late one. =D
