His arms were the branches of a Christmas tree preached the devil in the belfry.
eta: i fail. :P

O...M...G. Allee actually left the house this weekend! (Why is Allee referring to herself in the third person?) Anyway, good times were had.

Friday night I went out with Lauren (asiswellknown). We went out for drinks and got nicely toasted. "Could've had a V8!" Tee hee. Inside jokes are fun. I was talking about how my fruit in the drink made it healthy, and that is what Lauren said. That's never gonna die. XD I also had a long island iced tea for the first time. SO GOOD! I love Claim Jumper, their extensive drink menu makes the alcoholic in me so happy. We then saw a late, late showing of Indiana Jones. I don't know if it was just because I was drunk or what...but it made little sense to me. All I know is that I want to be the meat in a Shia/Harrison sandwich. And to the other people in the theatre with us, all 6 of you, I am so so sorry. But if you are going to that late of a showing and not on opening weekend, drunk girls can be expected.

And then Saturday, I watched CNN for a few hours (go Obama!!!! :D) and slept. But then...IT WAS TIME TO GO TO THE PANIC AT THE DISCO CONCERT!!!!11!!111!

I parked in the lot across the street from Lauren's. I got the last spot! HA HA! There was a sign that said it was closed to public parking for some church thing. Well, it was about 5 p.m. when I got there, so I figured everything would be over and no one would be coming in. So I parked, 'cause I'm rude, paid and then Lauren and I took the bus to the Paramount.

Phantom Planet, The Hush Sound, and Motion City Soundtrack were the opening bands. And they all rocked. This annoying girl sitting in front of us (more on her later) kept looking back at us when we were screaming for Phantom Planet. Excuse me, little brat. Some of us are older than 14 and can like other bands. I tried to take pictures, but gave up. We were way back in the second mezzanine, and coupled with my bad photography skills it just wasn't happening.

BUT HOLY COW! PANIC WAS AMAZING! So much better than when I saw them at Bumbershoot. The only bad thing was that girl in front of us! I am sorry to everyone who is also a member of mst3k, for being repetitive here. But jesus christ she was an annoying dancer! Yes, concert dancing is always awkward, especially in such a tight space. But daaamn! I just had to scream, "DO THE GIANT TODDLER DANCE!" Normally someone else's bad dancing wouldn't bother me. But she kept turning around during the whole concert giving Lauren and I weird, bordering on dirty, looks. Fuck that kid.

Also, I left my hoodie on my seat and didn't realize it until we were already down in the lobby. I sure as hell wasn't going back up there to get it. I don't know whether I am exceptionally lazy or exceptionally apathetic. :P

And here's the vid for "That Green Gentleman". :]

Sunday was a laaazy day. John texted me asking if I wanted to go see the Sex & the City movie. Sorry, I need at least a day of self imposed isolation before the work week begins again. Yes, I am that much of a loner. Plus, he texted me last minute, and I really didn't want to shower and get dressed and all that crap. So we are going to see it tomorrow afternoon. Yay! *is excited* :D

I also watched Ratatouille for the first time yesterday. OMG, that was so cute! I've always had a weird thing for Patton Oswalt (shut the fuck up), so that was nice. And I found this out after the movie was over, but Will Arnett was the voice of Horst!!!!!! Had I known that, I would've watched this a lot sooner. And despite the fact that I find the idea of rats cooking gross, I got really hungry. XDDDDD Thank god my mom made lemon chicken and chocolate cake that day!

I luuuurve 'Ratatouille' :D

I need to listen to some of Patton's standups because I've heard he's hilarious. I'm in hysterics every time I see him on Reno 911 as the Renaissance Faire guy XD
Allee: crowstrippinglady_lyca on June 9th, 2008 07:55 pm (UTC)
I am probably going to watch it again when I get home. XD

If this entry wasn't ridiculously long already, I would've posted some Patton. Probably next time. And some clips from MST3K, so non-MSTies can see what I mean when about The Giant Toddler Dance. XD

Sorry I'm not on MSN. I had most of this entry composed at home before I left, then finished it here. I am just trying to get all my shit done so maybe I can go home and EAT and SLEEP! LOL! And search for some Ratatouille and Will Arnett icons too of course.

Oh my god, Phantom planet and panic at the disco!

I'm so jealous! ;P

Aaaw! *hugs* If I ever win the lottery or somehow come into a lot of money, I will make sure we get to go to some awesome concerts together. :)

P.S. OMG! Your icon! *melts* Hot!

Aww, you're sooo cute! :D I'll do the same in case I'll get a lot of money. XD

asinnerofsorts keeps showing me awesome icons of RDJr and in this case of RDJr and Ed. I'm not good at finding great icons, but she is! XD She also found this one for me *points to her icon*.

Haha, Shia and Harrison had such great chemistry together that the lame plot was totally worth it. :P

Wait a sec...Will Arnett was in Ratatouille?? I didn't know that, and I've seen it a million times!! Which one was Horst?? I must watch for him next time.

Also, that movie totally makes me hungry every time I watch it! And it's ok that the rats were cooking, because they went into the dishwasher! Hehe, I love that movie, and I call my hamster "little chef" sometimes because it's cute. :D
Allee: Horstlady_lyca on June 10th, 2008 03:42 am (UTC)
LOL! True. I fear that I may have been a little loud with my Jones!cest comments. But come on! They were totally eye!sexing!!!!

*points to icon* I believe that is Horst. Which makes me happy, 'cause I thought he was the shit even before I knew it was him. XD

I thought that dishwasher thing was soooo cute! Aaaaw! Seriously, every time he called him "Little Chef", I just melted a little. Adorable! :]

I killed a man...with THIS THUMB. XDD

I kinda loved Linguini a lot. Usually in animated movies about animals, the human cast isn't very lovable, but in this movie they were all so great! I'm so glad I have it on dvd, I might need to watch it later, hehe.
Allee: Horstlady_lyca on June 10th, 2008 06:26 pm (UTC)
I defrauded a major corporation. XD Seriously, if I could make up a group of friends to play poker with out of fictional people; it'd be Horst, The Janitor, and Creed. LOL!

Lingiuni was awesome! I seriously thought his voice was kinda hot. Like adorably hot, ya know?

Loner love! (My fingers tried to type that as "lover love," but that's for another post...) Part of me feels really lonely and loser when I don't have a social life, and then people are around for a day and I get completely worn out and just want a few days by myself...
Allee: coca-colalady_lyca on June 10th, 2008 03:43 am (UTC)
Haha. Freudian slip? Maybe? XD

But glad to know I am not the only one who feels that way.

hey! I had a long island iced tea for the first time this weekend, too. I fully agree, they are delicious.

Do you remember me?

Not sure WHY your latest blog entry resulted in resurrection of this particular thing'em. But...

'Allo ma petite bon bon!

I am so totally brainfarting on what DSF was. I'm sorry. :[ And why we had rules and all that jazz...

And I'm sorry I am not on MSN that much anymore. Today is the 10th, so I was at corporate today, and not near the computer at my office. And yeah, the times leading up to the tenth are busier than usual. Plus, I've just been keeping really weird hours in life (weird sleep times, etc.) Plus I've actually been leaving the house a little more... I dunno. I don't feel more social, less actually.

But I miss you! And I will try to be on more often. I called you a few weeks ago, but your voicemail was full. :\

I love you!

I don't check my voicemails, Allee. I check my text messages though. I'm with you on the strange hours. My life is crazy! When is it not, though?
