It’s a gold & honey trap I’ve got for you tonight, Revenge is a kiss this time I won’t miss
Okay, so yesterday I did not have to get up early for work. And of course, something wakes me up. I know we have an alarm and nothing could break in without me hearing it (I accidentally set it off last night when the cork from the bottle of sparkling wine hit a window), but it sounded more like someone walking around than the usual creaks and such. Okay, when people walk around it is louder, but a he could have been sneaking around like a silent film villian (and was smart enough to dismantle the alarm). So I did a walk around of the house. Wasn't really afraid; 'cause if someone had woken me up on my day off I would probably anally rape and beat them with the heavy vase I had in my hand.

I was especially pissed because I had insomnia the night before, so yeah. But the good thing about that was late night macaroni! XD And I got to watch An American Haunting on cable, which I had wanted to see. It was a'ight, I reccomend it to people who liked Sleepy Hollow. It was atmospherically beautiful. And Professor Richard Powell (played by James D'Arcy) was way too pretty. LOL! And now Betsy/Richard is my new OTP and obsession. *points to icon* Also, and I don't want to give away any spoilers, but they (or the guy who wrote the novel it's based on, which I'm now reading) obviously researched poltergeist activity. Because if you know anything about the science and history of it, this movie really stays true to that and what the usual cause of it is. Anyway, OMFG Richard/Betsy FTW guys!!11!1!!!11!

I just wish the fandom was bigger. I really want a Richard/Betsy wallpaper, since that's what I do with my obsessions du jour.

The Big Bang Theory
- Sheldon, I love you. But that won't stop me from smacking some sense into you now and then.
- YAY! They talked about the new Star Trek movie! Two fandoms collide once again! ZQ should have a cameo on this show, for realz.
- Howard tearing his shirt off... Oh sweet jesus LOL!

How I Met Your Mother
- Finally! 'Sandcastles in the Sand', in the words of Barney, was all I dreamed it would be and more.
- I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I am not sure I like Barney and Robin together. Please don't kill me.
- Oh Lily. Girlfriend please!
- I like how they made Barney comforting, but still true to the character. Well done there.

American Idol
- I don't know who I want to go home tonight. As long as it's not either of the Davids or Carly I will be fine.
- Fuck I hate Cats!!!
- I must admit, I got a little turned on when David Cook sang 'Music of the Night'. I had to fan myself a little.
- I really like what David Archuelta did with 'Think of Me'. Rest assured, I will not stop thinking of him.
- YAY! I love Jesus Christ Superstar!!! Which is kind of weird coming from a quasi-athiest. But that show fucking rocks.
- John texted me last night that David A. turns 18 on May 5th. Oh how we will celebrate like the creeps we are. XDDDDD

Hell's Kitchen
- Craig has a tiny penis, I can tell. At first, I did think everyone was just ganging up on him, poor lamb. But not so much last night. Gordon Ramsey is a douche, but he is also your boss, Craig. You don't talk to your boss that way or refuse to answer him.
- Jen is starting to grow on me. Yes she runs her mouth off every five seconds. But she also tries to motivate her team positively no matter the challenge.
- Corey, I appreciate your attempts to be sneaky, I really do. But you suck at it. So please stop. And even though you don't like how slowly other people are cleaning up, that does not give you the right to give up and leave.

Boston Legal
- Oh, poor Jerry! My heart broke for him last night. :(
- Why can't Alan Shore be a real person? He fucking pwned last night. Take that, Supreme Court!
- When Denny said he didn't want that boy to die, I just wanted to give him a big hug.

And now a meme from jackie and treerad

All these Twilight behind the scenes footage are driving me crazy! Allee likey! Allee want Twilight-y!

And for my final random thought, I bring you a clip from Almost Live!. It's one of the infamous commercials for Roscoe's Oriental Rug Emporium. And I still have a major crush on Pat Cashman, I admit it.

Should I read Twilight?? I'm always a little iffy about YA books, because they can easily be melodramatic. It is YA right, and I'm not thinking of the wrong thing? XD

I need tons of new books to read this summer because I WON'T BE TAKING ANY ENGLISH CLASSES FOR ONCE HAAAAAHAHAHAHA! The world is mine. :P
Allee: littlemisssunshinefangirllady_lyca on April 24th, 2008 03:45 am (UTC)
You should at least read the first one. It's my favorite so far. And I know what you mean about melodramatic, I feel the same way. But yeah, I definitely want an Edward Cullen of my own. XD And that way you can be snobbish when you see the movie ('cause you will, 'cause it's Robert Pattinson and you have to). And I would love if you read the other two (and fourth when it comes out). They can be a little melodramatic, but I think it's worth it.

But I am also a big believer in at least checking things out that are culturally relevant (the main reason I watch Idol.

But yes, please read! I want to discuss with you! =D

And since the world will be yours, please promise me a place in your dark army. LOL!

Ok, I will pick it up. I hate getting books from the library, I'd rather just buy them even if I end up only reading them once. Especially if it's in cheap paperback. *is a book snob*

Of course I'm going to see a movie with my beloved C-Diggs! And I always like to read books before seeing the movies anyway. And I totally agree about checking out cultural phenoms, it's why I picked up Golden Compass, and it's why a lot of people I know are even into HP or LOTR. Yep.

Of course you're in my Dork Dark Army! And since you are the first, you can be my second-in-commad and tell the other troops what to do. Do you want Stormtrooper armor, or a Death Eater outfit?? :P
Allee: spaceballsevillady_lyca on April 24th, 2008 04:52 am (UTC)
YAY! If you read it and love it, when I post about the Stephenie Meyer day I'm going to in September I won't seem like such a dork. XD LOL! Hey, I live in the state it takes place in, I gotta go. And I'm meeting some other girls from LJ, so fangirls unite!

Yes! I want a Dork Dark Army badge! Hehehehehe. Yay! Power! Mwahahaha! While a Storm Trooper's armor protects better, it has the connotation of just brute force without much brain. I mean, clones just seem like foot soldiers to me. :P And the Death Eater masks are a hell of a lot creepier.
Pan: Jedi innuendojedipanchan on April 24th, 2008 04:58 am (UTC)
Yaayy, I love any excuse for mass fangirling! :P

Death Eaters are cool because you can kinda personalize the outfit, instead of showing up in the same outfit that Stromtrooper #59b is also wearing. How mortifying.

First step to world domination: learn magic.

Apparently there are a bunch of moms taking over the town of Forks, seeing as most of the visitors will be teen girls. XD Oh, we're old. But we are some fierce bitches. I remember that whole body checking thing from the soccer unit in P.E., and will employ all my experience from mass fan gatherings.

Exactly. I am definitely going with the DE outfit. Along with the badge, I may have to design this too. I am so sad.
