He wears a purple sash, and a black moustache, in a honky-tonk down in Mexico
It's the return of TV talk!

Chuck: Is it just me or has Rachel Bilson gotten a little too skinny. Hee hee! Loved all the truthiness though. "You called me your partner." Okay, shipped Sarah/Casey for another moment just then. And I want to give Captain Awesome a big hug. What a sweetie! I did miss a couple of minutes of the show at various times. I kept going back to the Seahawks game during the commercial break. I knew we were going to win, I just wanted to know by how much.

-Yay! No West! That's always cause for celebration in my book. I was sad we didn't see how Matt and Mo's My Two Dads situation came about though. And of course, I am always sad when there isn't a lot of Sylar.

-Elle, yeah I kept singing "Crazy Bitch". But crazy chicks are hot. Sad but true. And her and Adam were finally on screen together, so my shipping them is a little bit more plausible now. But why did she have to keep pawing Peter (at the first meeting with them and Bob). Not that I can blame her...

-The Haitian, so pimp.

Weeds: Gotta give a little squee for Nancy/Conrad. And I do think it's good for them to have an ally. Now giving him half...yeesh. I just know Nancy is gonna do something to mess it up (she isn't that shifty of a drug dealer), and shit is gonna go down once again. *le sigh* Nancy, you can't keep getting put on people's bad side! I hate to say this, but I agree with Silas, Shane is fucking nuts. Now it's kind of a fun crazy usually, but not now.

HIMYM: Okay, I totally used to be The Corrector. But the two girls I hung out with around the age of 14 thought it'd be a great idea if we told each other what bothered us about each other. Not to sound all smug, but I knew this wasn't a good idea, but one of the girls had a way of always making me feel guilty about everything. And she said I corrected people too much. She was right, and I hope I've been able to keep a lid on it. And I can sympathize with Lily. There are some foods that are really hard to eat quietly! I eat Cap'n Crunch and I have to crank the volume up on the TV.

The Big Bang Theory: Oh Sheldon. I love you.
Leonard: Well are you going to see her again?
Sheldon: Why would I? I already have a dentist.
And drunk!Sheldon is amazing. I have never seen Fiddler on the Roof, but now I really want to.

Our power didn't go out during the windstorm! Yay! Our satellite signal got lost a lot though. But only for like 10 second patches. And go Hawks! I know we mainly won because 49ers suuuuck. But I'll take it!

Work...Please kill me. Everything is so fucking unorganized because my dad's on vacation! And he won't be back until after Thanksgiving. There is going to be sooo much invoicing to catch up on when he gets back. 'Cause I don't know our rates for all these customers or anything. And I guess Tom doesn't either... And some it could so easily be organized! But of course I can't say anything about that, because it would basically be me telling my boss what to do. And that isn't good. But it also looks like I am just slacking. But I can't do certain things until after he has looked at all the paperwork first. I really hope he doesn't think I'm just being lazy. :\

Now, this really pisses me off. Like the administration really gives a fuck about veterans. Walter Reed anyone?
Bush not showing up at Arlington yesterday. Yes, he did meet some people in Texas, but the president has been at Arlington every Veteran's day for decades. Not only that, there was a photo opp a couple of days ago where he was playing some Iraq war video game with wounded soldiers. What's really sad is that Bush probably does view this conflict as a video game. He's never had to serve any military duty. Like John McCain, I wouldn't vote for him, but I will at least listen to what he has to say about the war because he's actually been through one. AAAAND, this may or not be caused by the administration itself (I'm not sure), veteran groups that protest the war were NOT ALLOWED to participate in parades and other veteran honoring activities yesterday. WTF is that twattery?!?! Veterans are not one homogenic mind of opinions! In every war, there have been soldiers with different opinions about it, and yet they were all still allowed to be honored.

Someone posted a history macro over in all_macros earlier. That totally made my day. XD

And now for some really random humor that can only be done by Kids in the Hall. "Alouette, gentille Alouette..."

P.S. If you want a Christmas card and haven't given me your info yet, read this post for details.

Did you watch the promo for next week's Heroes??? MOHINDER NOOOOO!!!! IF HRG KILLS HIM I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL SOB FOREVER!! The promos are always really misleading anyway, so I'm sure it's something completely different going on than what it looked like. I want HRG or Mo to shoot Bob. Please, writers, please do not take my Mohinder away from meeee! *wibbles*

Allee: sylar3somelady_lyca on November 13th, 2007 07:51 pm (UTC)
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! The preview! I really doubt it'll be Mo he shoots. *crosses fingers* But I don't want it to be Bob either. I dunno why, I don't think he is a total bad guy. I think his motives are good, but he is just kind of a...I don't want to say idiot but I can't think of another word.

Please let it be West. I want someone to shoot that little punk ass bitch. And if HRG did....that will cement his BAMF status. XD

I really have never trusted Bob. I think he wants the virus to break out (he let Niki just walk right out, infected!), kind of like how Mama Petrelli wanted the bomb to go off last season. They're still on their "this must happen for the world to save itself" thing. I want Mo to shoot him, it would be badass.

Meh, I don't like West either, but he hasn't really done anything worth being shot for. I don't exactly dislike him...I nothing him. :P

Allee: evillaughSylarlady_lyca on November 13th, 2007 09:49 pm (UTC)
Yeah. I think Bob is one of those not really a good guy, but not really a bad guy either. But if anyone must die (other than West), I am fine with it being him.

My friend Megan thinks HRG is gonna die soon! :*( Buuuuut. I brought up the idea that maybe Claire's blood can heal (like Adam's). And maybe it'll just be a cliffhanger, and when they come back next year she'll save him. If she wants to that is. She's been so annoying rebellious lately!
Pan: Mohinder throwjedipanchan on November 13th, 2007 10:14 pm (UTC)
Yeah I really don't think that HRG will die. I mean, how many people have we seen dead-paintings of who are still alive and well? But, Mo is going to shoot someone. Also, did you see him covering his broken nose in the promo?? OMG HE'S SO CUTE I CAN'T TAKE IT!! *runs off to work on Mo-fic* Hehe.

P.S. I sent you a little sumthin sumthin over on Teh Facebook today. ;D

Allee: stoned!hirolady_lyca on November 13th, 2007 10:28 pm (UTC)
If HRG dies, I will cry. Especially if Claire won't care. I know I am probably underestimating her in that respect, but I can't help but worry.

And I saw it! Yay! XD I'm sure there'll be at least one write-in vote for Nathan. XD
Pan: HRGjedipanchan on November 13th, 2007 10:56 pm (UTC)
Yeah, I'm really annoyed at Claire this season. But I don't think she would not save her dad! That'd be a bit much, especially if it's all over West. He's just a dumb stalker-boy, Claire! HRG does everything for you! ARGH!

And I'm totally making a "Vote Petrelli" shirt and wearing it to vote. XD I wonder if anyone will get it.

Allee: sylar3somelady_lyca on November 13th, 2007 11:45 pm (UTC)
I know I know, especially how she reacted when West saw HRG. I guess I just don't want to get my hopes us.

LOL! If I didn't vote absentee, I'd so do that!

BTW, there's a discussion going on over at heroes_tv about the HRG painting, thought you might like to join in: http://community.livejournal.com/heroes_tv/563850.html#cutid1

I love that comm, it makes me feel less geeky, lol. XD

sort of unrelated-
arlington sucks, sucks, SUCKS. my mom used to live there. you're lucky if you don't get a gun in your face by some coked up football player.

and you know how i feel about the military, BUUUT--there was veterans protesting this war in california (i think) and they all got arrested and even though i have my opinion of the military, i dont agree that should have been done.

i missed big bang theory last night. give me the lowdown? any penny+leonard moments?
Allee: JDmagichatlady_lyca on November 13th, 2007 09:44 pm (UTC)
Sounds like Bothell High School (the coke bit I mean). :P But I mean, Bush has secret service, he'd have been fine. Cheney showed after all. But I guess we all know Cheney's packing and will shoot you in the face, no questions asked, so they don't mess with him.

Well, this is more about how hypocritical the administration is. I don't have anything against the military as a whole. Yes, there are a some assholes. But that's not the majority. No one I know over there ever tortured anyone. I just think it's a shame that the military should be able to trust their government to only send them where it's necessary, and they can't. And worse yet, they send them into danger for no fucking reason and then when they come back they tell them to pisss up a rope. The number of vets that were in Iraq that are now homeless is rising faster than that of those who were in Vietnam.

As for Big Bang (ten hours into my comment LOL!), there were no OBVIOUS moments I guess. I mean, they were friendly. Penny took a bartending shift and made drinks for all the guys (Raj got tipsy and actually talked to her!). And all through the episode Sheldon kept insisting on just ordering a diet coke (even though she was trying to practice her skills), so she slipped some into his drink. Which led to drunken Sheldon playing the piano and singing Fiddler on the Roof at the restaurant. Leonard and her laughed over that.
ap0nia on November 13th, 2007 11:02 pm (UTC)
Oh, I wasn't saying that was a good reason for him not to go. I was just saying what it was like. My grandma works out there too. He has no excuse for half the things he does. I mean, really. Not even the pretzel. That's all.

While I don't necessarily agree with what you said (not the homeless part, I know thats true), I respect your opinion. I'm a strong, strong anti-militarist, but I can respect others opinions.

Aw, man. I need to watch next Monday, I guess but at the same time I dont know. My television has been off like I said for awhile... I also missed 2 1/2 Men and I know we run out of episodes soon. On both shows.
Allee: JDmagichatlady_lyca on November 13th, 2007 11:24 pm (UTC)
I just had to watch because I wanted to see what Sheldon would be like when a woman was interested in him. XD And I know what you mean! Most of my shows are almost done! *bites nails* But I'm happy the creator of Scrubs refuses to rush a finale. It deserves to go out with a bang!
Krystal: wait for it...krys33 on November 14th, 2007 12:23 am (UTC)
I agree on all counts of everything fandom! (Well, except for Weeds, which I don't watch...) Especially lack of West. :P And Sheldon's awesomeness. :)
Allee: marshallmancrushlady_lyca on November 14th, 2007 03:04 am (UTC)
I was really hoping Sheldon would get all flustered and even more adorable than usual. But I should've guessed he'd be kind of oblivious. LOL! XD
