That's what you had to tell me? Your father wears sneakers in the pool?
Am taking a break from reading Twilight to post.

ZOMG! I love this book so much! At work I just usual day-dream about getting out of there in general...today I just wanted to speed home to Edward Cullen. I know he's a fictional character, and stalking is bad...but dear gawds I want him to stalk me! I am even contemplating sleeping with the blinds up, on the off chance that there is a vampire watching me. LOL! I am one sick puppy.

I am over halfway through. I also really like the character Alice, even though she's not in it much. At least not yet.

I was even gushing about the book to my parents when they were in the kitchen making dinner, and me making jasmine tea (yummy yummy). So now I have to finish it soon because my mom wants to read it too. ^_^ She's gonna take it with her to the beach when my parents go next weekend. Yay for book discussion!

Ask me 3 questions and I will reply with the answers. The catch is that the 3 questions must start with the following verbage:

1) When did you...?
2) What do you think of...?
3) Have you ever...?

Oh I was so bad yesterday. I went grocery shopping while hungry, which is why I am now munching haphazardly out of a box of Frosted Flakes, and why I have Eggos in the freezer.

And I was supposed to go over to Amy's house at 7 so her mom could pay me for house-sitting. I totally didn't remember until I woke up from my nap at 9. I feel horrible! I'll try and call her tomorrow.

My dad made me and him microwaved s'mores tonight. He walks into my room (I had the door open so I could hear the dryer beep), and says "Okay, you're probably not going to want this..." I just groaned, but of course let out a fat girl squee of delight when I realized it was s'mores. I actually have a hard time understanding sarcasm sometimes. Which is odd, because I myself am very sarcastic. But yeah, my dad is awesome. He may annoy me a lot of the time, but I sure I do that to him as well. But I love him. :P

1) When did you first know that santa/the easter bunny and so on didn't exist?
2) What do you think of HP the very first time you read it?
3) Have you ever slapped someone, really hard?
Allee: nevilledaysalelady_lyca on June 7th, 2007 02:34 pm (UTC)
1. Santa, I think I just asked when I was around 8 and my parents told me. Easter Bunny, I found the reciept in my Easter basket when I was around 7. And the Tooth Fairy, I don't really remember. :P

2. I didn't start reading HP until the 4th book came out...and I read them all in like two weeks. So yeah, loved them! XD

3. Not really hard. Maybe harder than I meant to. I've slugged someone really hard in the arm though.
staticlovedream on June 7th, 2007 06:16 am (UTC)
1) When did you...? first see house
2) What do you think of...? me going to the west coast
3) Have you ever...? gotten a mosquito bite that hurt way too much
Allee: russialady_lyca on June 7th, 2007 02:36 pm (UTC)
1. It was December of 2005. Amanda and I drove down to Portland to pick up our friend Sara from school, and she had two friends she went to school with there who we stayed with. They watched House, so that means we watched it too. :P

2. It's awesome! It doesn't really matter if you move close to me or not. I mean, that would be really cool. :D But it seems like something you've always wanted to do so you should go for it!

3. The bite itself didn't hurt so much, but I have scratched them so much they hurt. Mosquitos love me!
staticlovedream on June 7th, 2007 02:46 pm (UTC)
awesome and yes, it is! i think i'll just be happier but even its cali, you should still come see me. <3

i ask cause the mosquitos are HEAVY outside. my cat was having to bat them off of herself and then a few bit me and i have bites all over my arm. =(
Allee: JDmagichatlady_lyca on June 7th, 2007 04:13 pm (UTC)
Oh totally! Besides, I might even move to Cali someday. Amanda and I always talk about it. And unless she gets married before she's out of school (which I actually could really see happening, as it almost did last year), maybe we actually will. But even if we don't, I'll of course have to come visit!

Oh noes! I hate mosquitos! I know they probably serve some purpose in the balance of ecosystems and all that, but I hate them! Eh, I'll just not go camping, not that I have in years anyway. :P

1) When did you start watching Simpsons?
2) What do you think of reincarnation?
3) Have you ever had a dirty sex dream?
Allee: tophergracelady_lyca on June 7th, 2007 03:08 pm (UTC)
1. I've watched as long as I can remember. I don't know if my parents were really happy that I've been watching it since I was really little. But, being a latch-key kid, I always watched pretty much whatever I wanted.

2. I believe in it. I don't know if we only come back as humans, or animals too. I don't believe in hell. But I don't like the idea that people don't pay for their wrongs in the after-life. Plus, I think reincarnation is a scientifically viable occurence.

3. Nothing too dirty, sadly. At least none that I remember. I remember having a dream or two about my friend Amanda. And one about my friend John in high school (and it wasn't dirty, it was bad :P). Mostly, and maybe I am being too honest here...I dream about masturbating. And that pisses me off, because I can do that in real life! Why can't I dream about the impossible?!

I <3 the Twilight books :D I read both (Twilight and New Moon) in less than a week and as you know, they're not small books. SO good! It seems like everyone on my flist is reading them now :D Yay! And the third book comes out Aug 8...I can't decide if I'm more excited for Harry Potter or that...:\ Good summer for us fiction fans though ^_^

Have you checked out Meyers website yet? It's pretty interesting.
Allee: pussinbootslady_lyca on June 7th, 2007 03:11 pm (UTC)
Hehehe. This summer is gonna be full of reading! But I am happy I've found a book that comes out after HP, so I won't feel totally "What do I have left to live for now" so soon. And then if they make them into movies (and they should), I will still have more to look forward to. XD

I've been afraid to check out many comms or websites because I don't want to be spoiled. But I don't know if I can resist anymore, LOL!
Stephanieedenmalfoy on June 7th, 2007 04:41 pm (UTC)
There are movies being talked about at least, I know that much. There's some info on her site about the possibility but I don't remember what exactly has been said. They need to be movies, the effects would kick ass :D

And her site's not *too* spoilery. It's all labeled pretty well so you can steer clear of stuff you don't want to know without too much difficulty.
Allee: aceventuraobsesslady_lyca on June 7th, 2007 06:33 pm (UTC)
Why did you direct me to that site!?!? I had to buy a shirt (or a few)! I mean, of course everyone must know about my love for the books via my clothing advertisements! XD

Anf I need to finish the two books so I can go browse communities because I am dying to use some icons!

I think I'm going to read Twilight during the summer. I've heard really good things about it :)

1) When did you first have a crus on someone?
2) What do you think of Japanese food?
3) Have you ever been to Europe?
Allee: danielmadeofawesomelady_lyca on June 8th, 2007 12:50 am (UTC)
Definitely read it! But make sure you have lots of time, because you are not going to want to put it down! I wish I was able to pace myself, since the third book doesn't come out until August...but I figure I am gonna be busy with HP when July rolls around anyway. :P

1) I think it was second or third grade. His name was Brian. He had braces and was kind of a "bad kid". As bad as you can be at 8 that is. LOL!

2) I am not a connoisseur of Japanese food, by any means. But all the sushi I've ever had, I've LOVED! There is this place called Rikki Rikki that I keep wanting to go back to, but none of my friends who live close by like sushi.

3) Sadly, I have never left the US. I've been all over this country, from Florida to Hawaii to New York, and places in between...but no other country. Not even Canada, which is sad because I am just a few hours away. I am dying to go to Europe though! Especially Prague and Russia.
