I see you & your selective amnesia, & I love you still, & I love you still
My day off on Friday was, for the most part, amazing. It sucked waking up at 7 (earlier than when I usually wake up for work), but my leg was keeeeelling me. But I got a very nice nap later on; one where I woke up gradually and thought it was actually late at night, but then opened my eyes and saw the sunlight out my window. I did laundry, took my trash out... I don't know why, but I prefer to do chores when I am home alone. Probably because I know my mom will be in my fucking face if I leave my room and I don't want any fucking questions.

But I could just be saying that because I'm still pissed that she threw away my left over macaroni today (which I was really looking forward to) without asking. She offered to make me another box; but I said no. A)Because I'm a bitch. And B) I hate the way she makes it (fucking disgusting). I can't eat anyone else's mac and cheese. I just can't.

ANYWAY, I plan on doing some major room cleaning when they go to Florida next month.

I wish I had posted an entry earlier, 'cause I know I wanted to gush about Thursday TV...but now I can't remember it all.

Ugly Betty: Henry, I usually love him, but I was getting a little annoyed with him. And as much as I want Betty and Daniel together eventually, I would love for Betty to get something going on with the sandwich guy (who will forever be one of the dumbass jocks in Can't Hardly Wait, and Carla's brother on Scrubs, just so Henry gets the idea that she can't sit around waiting for him. Still love Marc, want to party with him.

The Office: Okay, I do want Dwight and Angela to get married and have really uptight children...but Andy did sing my favorite Abba song, so he gets points for that. And his stealing the ice sculpture was a total "WTFLOL!" moment. Ryan, still a douche. How cute was Daryl defending Kelly?! OMG! Even if they don't hook up, it'd be a cute big brother/little sister thing going on. Michael's man boobs, tee hee!

Moonlight: Jason Dohring, still sexy. That's not really a spoiler, I guess. XP

If you hate Ann Coulter (if you don't, I don't think we can be friends), you may want to get in on this. Now, I know carbs are a terrible thing to waste. But so is the opportunity to not only pelt that hate monger with something, but get paid for it as well!

I've been randomly saying "sticky wicket" in a British accent today. And it's all Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me and jedipanchan's fault. XD

Here's a clip from The Soup, 'cause that's always good times.

I don't know why, but the centaur is kinda cute. :P

STICKY WICKET!! XD

Mental Health Days are great for chores, it always makes me feel better for skipping class/work/whatever, lol. I meant to do an intense cleaning of my room/bathroom today, but I ended up going to the mall instead. I bought a whole bunch of cute wintery shirts, and tanks for layering, from Target and Old Navy, which made me too happy to care about skipping my cleaning, lol. There's always tomorrow. :D

Shop beats cleaning every time! My mom asked me if I wanted to go with her today. But I woke up at 8 and she was already gone. :P

That reminds me, I've been meaning to do some online window shopping at Target. Have you seen the commercials for the designer who likes fantasy? Seems pretty interesting.

Target is the best, I bought 4 shirts there for under $30! One of them is a really cute pink Beatles shirt, and I can't wait to wear it! I can never go to Target without buying something, so it's never just window shopping for me, lol. XD

I know what you mean. Tar-jay (as we say around here, 'cause we're dorks) is awesomesauce. I got a pair of slip on sneakers for $15! I may have to go tomorrow... XD

P.S. Man! I lurve that icon! Jordan, you're my hero!
Pan: Jordanjedipanchan on October 14th, 2007 06:14 am (UTC)
Haha, my mom calls it Tar-jay, too. :P

And yes, I love Jordan! I wish I was as ballsy as her! XD

In a sociology class I had, there was a guy in my reading group who thought she was attractive. Oh, I knew we would have words.

LOL, that Soup clip was great!! Have you seen that show? I watched it last night!! Yeah, they should definitely show repeats so the kids can watch it (MOMMY!)
Allee: sylar3somelady_lyca on October 14th, 2007 06:01 pm (UTC)
If I miss The Soup, I seriously get upset and set the timer for the next airing. And I've seen it once again since Friday. I watch repeats more than once, LOL!

Hey, I would let my kids watch it. Which is one reason I should probably never have children. XD
Rebeccailovetbag24 on October 14th, 2007 06:18 pm (UTC)
Uh, that icon is love!! Two Sylars at once...where do I sign up!!

LOL, you'd be one popular parent if you let them watch that!!

"But mooooooom! Mrs. Quinto lets Astrid watch The Soup!" XD
I died instantly...the next day...: endowment.spifftronica on October 16th, 2007 06:43 pm (UTC)
I know EXACTLY what you mean about other people's macaroni and cheese!
Allee: aceventuraobsesslady_lyca on October 16th, 2007 08:04 pm (UTC)
I knew I wasn't the only one! I mean, ya gotta get the ratio of butter and milk right. And whether one prefers margarine to butter. There's also how long you like your noodles cooked... So many variables!

P.S. Icon love!
